New Jersey's most Dangerous Roads
As New Jersey attorneys who have hanlded many pedestrian accident cases, we follow auto safety issues that affect the residents of the State of New Jersey. On January 6, 2010, the Tri-State Campaign issued a press release based on a study conducted in 2005-2008 that details the top ten most dangerous roads for walking pedestrians in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. The study listed the most dangerous roads in New Jersey as follows:
- Burlington Pike (US-130),
- Burlington County, White Horse Pike (Route 30),
- Atlantic County, Route 1, Middlesex County, Route 549,
- Ocean County, NJ, Route 9, Ocean County,
- Route 1, Union County.
In Hudson County the most dangerous roads are John F. Kennedy Boulevard which runs through Union City, North Bergen, Jersey City and Bayonne and Avenue C in Bayonne. Our experience has also found that there are many accidents on Route 1 & 9, in North Bergen and Jersey City, as well as Route 440 in Jersey City. The Tri-State Campaign prepared these reports to increase awareness and safety for pedestrians in accidents.
Each of our attorneys is a North Jersey native. In addition, each is involved with local legal and civic organizations, giving back to colleagues and to the community. We are trial lawyers, pursuing justice for our clients at every step of the legal process.
